Power Cable While It Is In Use
Power cables generate heat when they are in use. Improper storage can create a fire hazard.
Take any excess cable and lay it in a loose figure "8" shape so that the heat can easily dissapate. The more surface area that is exposed, the cooler the cable will stay.
Allow air to circulate around the figure "8" coil so that there is no heat buildup.
Create a Figure "8" quickly from properly coiled cable by dividing the coil in half in a "butterlfy" fashion.
